Letter from the Owner

Dear Parents:

Thank you for your interest in our center.  Our goal is to provide a safe place for the community’s children.  We want to allow them to have the opportunity to simply be children, to play and develop their own creativity, while giving them the educational tools they will need to be successful in school and in life.  We work hard to do this, while also providing exceptional customer service for parents.  In a world where we’re all far too busy and time is precious, we do what we can to give you as much time with your family as possible.

Most of our teachers have a two or a four year degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, psychology, sociology, or in another related field.  We have found that there is simply no substitute for educated, dedicated teachers.  We work very hard to maintain low staff turnover, and as a result we have a very low turnover of children.  Fifteen years of experience in the child care field has taught us that our staff makes all the difference!

In addition to providing quality child care, we take pride in the fact that our parents are just as important to us as our children. We offer many additional time saving services to help our parents manage their time so that they may ultimately spend more time with their children.  We provide:  dry cleaning, hair cuts, drop in child care, professional photographs, dance & music classes and more.  We also have a monthly “Parents night out” on a Saturday from 5pm - 10pm so that our parents may take some time for themselves!  Our prices also include food, most brands of powder formula, wipes and diapers… you bring the kids and we’re all set!

There are many other aspects which make our center unique, including our philosophy as described in the attached Mission and Values Statements.  In order to get a good understanding of why our center is different from other centers, you really need to visit in person.  Stop in and see the rooms that your child will play in and see for yourself how it “feels” here.

You may be aware that we often have waiting lists for our programs.  We have two separate programs located close to one another here in Woodbury.  We have full day programs for infants, toddlers, and pre-schoolers.  We also have half-day programs for pre-school.  Our elementary school, Footprints Academy , has full day educational programs for children in kindergarten through sixth grade.  Finally, we have a wonderful summer program for school age children, in grades one through eight!  Ask the director for more details.  It’s a great idea to come and visit, and reserve a spot for your child early – especially for fall enrollments!  Depending on what your child care needs are, we will refer you to the Peace of Mind programs that will best meet your needs.  Give us a call to find out more information and set up a tour today!
